Ingredients
- Momos chutney
1 medium tomato
8-10 garlic cloves
4-5 dry red chillies
- For Dough
2 cup maida
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp oil
Water for kneading
- For Stuffing
3 tbsp oil
3 clove garlic finely chopped
1 inch ginger grated
4 tbsp spring onion
1 cup cabbage
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 cup boild soya chunks and crushed
2-3 green chilli chopped
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp soya sauce (optional)
Directions
- To make momos chutney, In a mixer grinder add tomato, garlic cloves and dry red chili make a paste add salt as per taste.
- In a bowl add 2 cups maida, salt, and oil make a soft dough and keep aside for 10- 15 minutes.
- For stuffing heat oil in a pan saute garlic and chili also add onion, and further add spring onion, soy chunks, ginger, and cabbage stir fry on high flame.
- Now add 1 tbsp soya sauce in the mixture, turn off the flame add salt as per your taste.
- Pinch a small ball size momos dough and flatten and dust some maida and start rolling.
- Now add 1 ½ tbsp of prepared stuffing in the center.
- Start pleating the edges and gather everything to give them a potli shape.
- Heat a kadhai and add 2 cups or half kadhai of water.
- Arrange the momos in a greased sieve.
- Place the greased sieve on heated kadhai.
- Cover them with a lid.
- Steam momos for 20-25 minutes on high flame till shiny seen appear over it.
- Finally, veg momos recipe is ready to serve hot and enjoy with moms chutney.
